Google Bad Review:  New owner behaves friendly but ultimately was dishonest and mechanics are not very knowledgeable or experienced. They lied to me about a bunch of things, had me pay for something I found out i did not need and tried and failed to solve a problem, blaming the car rather than their own inadequacies.

The next day after seeing the way this lot operate, I took the car to a different garage recommended by a friend and they solved the same issue in exactly 30 seconds, and the new mechanic showed me exactly what was happening. It wasn't an issue at all, and he did not even want money.

London Auto Centre on Ley Street however told me it was a bad problem they couldn't fix. Owner clearly said and did what he did to make extra money, which i realised after the second opinion. They wanted to carry out other works too. They will deny of course and make excuses but it is clear to me at least the guy running the place isnt honest and was talking out of his arse about a 30 second problem, and other non existent issues, making small things sound worse then they are.

I've left this purposely vague for privacy but i can assure the reader this is a real experience. I've shared because i was legitimately disappointed that morning that people still behave this way. Always get a second opinion. You will probably know more about cars then this lot – i pretended i didn't know anything after they started going down that road, just to see how far they were going to take the piss.
