I want to firstly disclose that I am terrified of mice, which is possibly the no.1 reason to call pest control. I had the full treatment of traps and proofing. However, after it was all complete and to my horror I saw another mouse running around. I called Crystalkil immediately and they sent two of their higher up associates to my flat immediately. I don't dispute the response time being great, but actually after looking around my flat they told me there were too many holes and that was not the service they provide. I was told “our company operates on a no guarantee policy”, which basically means I just got totally done. I should have been told on day 1 that my flat had too many gaps and that proofing was not going to be effective. I was told that ALL ACCESSIBLE areas would be seen to, but the contract only vaguely suggests this. Not enough for me to do anything about it. So now my situation is that I am at square one and £250 down. A complete waste of time and money, neither of which I have an abundance of.
