Google Bad Review (2):  Myself, niece from Australia and her 2 small children booked for 3 nights, tues, weds, thurs. Wen we checked in we were told the booking was for weds, thurs, fri! We protested this. They said they didnt have a room available. We kicked up a fuss as we had 2 small children with us and late at night. Eventually they did come up with a room for the grand sum of over £300. That was for 1 night. They refused to take the friday night off and put it to weds night. So, another £300 plus we had to pay! The bathroom shower was blocked and water flooded the bathroom! The handle on the bathroom door came off completely in my hand. The reception staff were not helpful at all and we will not be returning to this place again!

I found a used tissue outside the steam room and my wife found a blood stained tissue in her changing room. We paid for a 60 minute treatment and only received 48 minutes.

Google Bad Review (2):  I purchased my brother and his fiancé a voucher through Time Out to use the hotel's spa as a Christmas present. I'm sad to say they did not report a pleasant or professional experience and I feel embarrassed at having given them such a ‘present'. Despite reserving a time ahead of their arrival, they had to wait almost an hour to receive their massages. They were supposed to receive complimentary glasses of bubbly and did not receive even this small welcoming gesture. My brother said that mid-way through his massage, the masseuse stopped for 5-10mins. He thought that she had left but when he checked found that she was busy on her smart phone! Although the massage was decent, his over-riding suspicion is that this place is sorely understaffed which obviously impacts on the whole experience. Suffice to say, they did not find the spa day as relaxing as claimed to be!

Google Bad Review (2):  We stayed at Minerva Court on Bowling Green Lane. It was a less than satisfactory experience. Traffic noise and late night partying was very loud. We are a family of four and they gave us only 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 bar of miniature soap for the 5 days we stayed. The location is too far from a major Tube line which required train changes to get to the heart of London. The internet connection was weak and for 23 Pounds, only one device could be used at a time. Some of the appliances and lamps were too far away from the minimal outlets to be of use. There was a pot to heat water for instant coffee but no outlet in the kitchen to use. Clerkenwell is a nice neighborhood on the outskirts of the tourist areas of London, but we would recommend finding a more hospitable place to stay. The people at the leasing office (Acorn) were all very helpful.

We protested this. They said they didnt have a room available. We kicked up a fuss as we had 2 small children with us and late at night. Eventually they did come up with a room for the grand sum of over £300. That was for 1 night. They refused to take the friday night off and put it to weds night. So, another £300 plus we had to pay! The bathroom shower was blocked and water flooded the bathroom! The handle on the bathroom door came off completely in my hand. The reception staff were not helpful at all and we will not be returning to this place again!

Google Bad Review (2):  After arriving back home, I realise they ripped me off. They offered me the choice “EUR or GBP” when I checked in. I chose Euro, because for me, it's easier. They did not tell me at the time that I would be charged a 3.5% surcharge IN ADDITION TO the not-the-best exchange rate. I wasn't informed of this when I was offered the choice, although I see now it stated on the receipt. I did not read the fine print on the receipt at the time.

When I checked out and received the final invoice, only the GBP amount is stated, not the actual EUR amount charged including conversion rate and surcharge.

I received no value for this payment, as the bank would have converted the money at a better rate in any case, without the 3.5% surcharge, so I can only conclude that:

Citadine deliberately duped me into an unnecessary charge, by taking advantage of my momentary inattention on arriving in a new city.

…makes me wonder what else they might get up to.

Google Bad Review (2):  Posting some pics of Villa Katerina. The villa looks great on website having visited before. Mr wife and I took my sister in law after having said it was a great place to stay. Has gone down terribly. Ants in drawers and cupboards, the owner came and put some stuff down a hole outside the villa but every day we were inundated with the things. The rep came we discussed this also and the fact that they were building onto the football academy al next door. 7am every morning noise and dust and to top that dogs from a nearby farm barking through the night. We were out every day and my sister in law made the mistake of leaving the air con on in her bedroom. It states on your invoice that this is chargeable, the owner charged us for the 3 of us for the whole week, we told him we'd broken a wine glass for which he then added on a further 5 pounds. Come on you can get 6 of them in Asda back home for that price, it wasn't crystal for goodness sake!!! He sat there quite the thing demanding the money there and then, which came to approx 130 euros, luckily we did have the cash but he was very bullying. The DVD player did not work, TV a bit iffy, the furniture is dated and uncomfortable, beds smelt foisty and stale, could do with new bedding. No bikes for guests, these are advertised on web page. The recyling boxes outside were always covered in ants. YUK.The blinds which were faulty had electricians tape to keep cords fastened and were covered in dead moths and flies. Well on last day my wife dropped an earring and on going under the bed to retrieve it the dust and muck was disgusting, and when pulling the blind up in spare bedroom was the words CLEAN ME written in the dirt, obviously from a previous guest. Large cracks are appearing to the outside of the villa, weeds on the driveway!!!The only good thing was the swimming pool., On our return home contacted Irene, who to make it short said this all could have been sorted in Cyprus with rep. How is beyond me, so no joy from owner, rep or Sundance Villas, will not be using again or recommending them Just a few pics attached to show the state of the place.

Google Bad Review 1:  the internet connection at this hotel was practically inexistent. many networks, all led to nowhere. but it was just a start — there were so many things wrong with this hotel.

first, everyone considering staying here should know that housekeeping is on weekly basis, not everyday. yes, you will only get the room cleaned if you stay more than 7 days! this info is placed somewhere obscure, among a list of things people dont generally read when they purchase hotel service.

secondly, the hotel seems to go out of their way to make things inconvenient so you will purchase additional service. need an adaptor? it's £5. not provided for guest comfort/convenience like in regular hotel. need your room cleaned? it's £15 for studio type, £20 for one-BR type.

third, the pillows stink. very strong smell of sweat. even cheaper hotels would have replaced such pillows.

one more thing, my whole room shook whenever the next door neighboor or cleaning service went in and out.

it was the worst experience i had at a hotel, especially becoz i could have much more comfortable alternative for half of the cost. i thought i was treating myself a nice spacious room. what i got was a small, dark room with rusty appliances.

Google Bad Review (2):  (Translated by Google) It is true the first time I live in an apartment, but its price is the price of a four-star hotel and I expected services to be delivered in it for the price I paid! At least he gave credibility to pictures! The pictures are bocking something, and the reality is something nice! The rooms are like and old, and the days are very old. The bathroom is separated from the bathtub, the bedrooms are very small.
The housekeeping muffin, the bell captain, the receptionist, have no experience at all and are very complicated, I don’t know what
I never recommend it. If you were planning to live in the bathroom, this is a round, so you will book a four-star hotel at the price of this one.

This is my first time in an apartment but for what i paid for i could've stayed in a 4 stars hotel, I was expecting a little service from this place but i got none at all! The photos does not resemble what the room actually look like and i did not paid for this!
