Thanks for acknowledging the issue. I had shared with the stylist a day earlier that I have long hair and I was not told how long you would need. I was given a 10am appointment and I had made it clear that I had to leave by 11. Appreciate this happens rarely as you said but for me it was 2 back to back incidents.

I had made a booking for a haircut via treatwell, left work early on Friday(1/10) and reached the salon 10 mins early for the 4pm appointment. After 15mins was told that treatwell bookings dont work for them and that there was no hair stylist at that moment. Left my contact details to get a booking for a later day. Emma texted me on the same day and after few messages confirmed a 10am appointment for the next day.

Reached there 10 mins ahead of the appointment. 30 mins of waiting and I checked with the receptionist again and she called to Emma who was in the same room attending to a different customer! Having not met before and being in the same room, she could have atleast told me about the delay rather than being asked by the receptionist to just wait.

Emma said it would take her more time to finish. She did not apologise nor did she refer me to another stylist. She asked me to either wait or make another booking. I got dissapointed then. This was very unprofessional and the basic courtesy was missing here so I left the salon without the service.

It was my 2nd time in a matter of 2 days. I dont understand the meaning of appointments if they are not kept. If you do not want to serve new customers just say so in the begining rather than wasting people's time. Also if you dont take appointments via treatwell then why are you still linked up with them as thats the first link that comes on google search?
