Google Bad Review 1: Don't expect to be in and out of the urgent care centre without spending your entire day in the waiting room.. 5+ hours waiting even though each moment with a doctor was probably 3minutes each.. and make them double & triple check they wrote your phone number correctly if they tell you to go and they'll call you later.

Google Bad Review (2): I saw a senior consultant dermatologist who has many years of experience, for a condition I've had for over 10 years. I won't name him as that's probably a bit below the belt. He told me, literally in a few seconds, that my condition had cleared up. He didn't do any checks to know this, he just very visibly wanted me out the door as quickly as possible. I was sceptical with what he'd said so I went private and got a second opinion.. I was told the condition was still very much there and it was indeed “extensive”. The consultant did checks to know this, checks that included the right equipment. I suppose when you're getting an NHS salary and you're clearly not bothered to genuinely help people, you will be very quick to say anything that gets the patient out the door, even if they've travelled for over an hour to see you. I'm so glad I got a second opinion and didn't trust what was initially said to me. So disappointing, considering how long I've had this for, but this is often the way with a lot of clinicians in the NHS. I imagine the consultant would have been a lot more thorough and diligent had this been a private appointment… ££££££
