Google Bad Review 1:  I had the most terrible experience with Poppy's funerals. They caused me extraordinary stress in the weeks between my mother's death and her funeral. All the information I was given initially about the organisation for he funeral were wrong. I was given first one and then another complicated procedure for payment of the funeral expenses which I followed only to be told that I had to pay the whole amount upfront immediately by credit card. I had huge problems ordering flowers for the coffin. After unbelievable incompetence and carelessness, I received a message at 4.45 the day before the funeral saying that unless the (very expensive) flowers were delivered to some obscure mortuary in south London in a particular half hour time slot, they would not be on the coffin. After one of the most upsetting hours of my life, this was fixed. My experience with Poppy's was dreadful.

Google Bad Review (2):  We travelled from Australia for the funeral of a dear friend of ours last Thursday at Lambeth Crematorium. Poppy's managed to get the coffin on the stage and the people into the chapel ok, and the proceedings went well, except for the all important music, chosen by our friend before he died, and the recording and playing of which were Poppy's responsibility. One item, a piece by Mozart, was missing from the playlist, and the rest were too quiet and of mediocre sound quality. Members of the family and other mourners were very upset. If you decide to use Poppy's make sure they've got the music sorted.
