Google Bad Review 1:  In short beautiful venue, cold awful service and treat customers as second class citizens if you don’t look rich or dress in a particular way. Disgusted by the treatment and lack of service.

My friend and I attended on 15/3/19. The venue was not busy but the host two females at the desk told us we were not allowed to sit in the centre where the palm trees are as “we had not booked or unlikely to spend enough”.

This was an odd comment to make, but we just wanted a nice environment to enjoy a warm cup of tea and cake. We enjoy the afternoon tea.

We sat on the side. My friend had to go up and ask for a menu, the service was appalling and I was shocked that we were frankly being ignored.

I have never felt so uncomfortable or unwelcome before. I was astonished that we were disregarded. I couldn’t understand why?

To the staff at the winter garden restaurant I would say please don’t treat people badly for their race, or attire. We were both young professionals with highly respectable jobs.

We left upset as I refuse to spend my money or time in an establishment that would treat one so poorly. We went elsewhere- where customer service comes first and one doesn’t treat their customers with disrespect. You need to teach your staff what good curtious customer service is.

Google Bad Review 1:  I visited The Caprice at Masterpiece in London: it was early and it was obvious that there were tables available. However because I was a woman (smart,elegant), elderly, and on her own, the Headwaiter without even looking at his table plan could not apparently find a table for me. This is not the first time I am segregated upon by so-called upper class restaurants.

Google Bad Review 1:  The food tastes like people only come here to make a picture of the famous toilets. We had brunch at the Glade, the food was very bland. Google Bad Review (2):  I ordered Oysters and the sirloin steak, very underwhelming experience, very disappointing. Oysters were very small and not good quality for the price.

My steak was ordered medium rare but came well done and dry, got told that getting another one would take very long. Not very serviceminded. My friend who ordered the vegetarian dishes, was also left disappointed as everything was bland and tasteless. Would not go back. Not worth the price at all.

Google Bad Review 1:  In short beautiful venue, cold awful service and treat customers as second class citizens if you don’t look rich or dress in a particular way. Disgusted by the treatment and lack of service.

My friend and I attended on 15/3/19. The venue was not busy but the host two females at the desk told us we were not allowed to sit in the centre where the palm trees are as “we had not booked or unlikely to spend enough”.

This was an odd comment to make, but we just wanted a nice environment to enjoy a warm cup of tea and cake. We enjoy the afternoon tea.

We sat on the side. My friend had to go up and ask for a menu, the service was appalling and I was shocked that we were frankly being ignored.

I have never felt so uncomfortable or unwelcome before. I was astonished that we were disregarded. I couldn’t understand why?

To the staff at the winter garden restaurant I would say please don’t treat people badly for their race, or attire. We were both young professionals with highly respectable jobs.

We left upset as I refuse to spend my money or time in an establishment that would treat one so poorly. We went elsewhere- where customer service comes first and one doesn’t treat their customers with disrespect. You need to teach your staff what good curtious customer service is.

Google Bad Review 1:  Service here was a joke. Waiters were standing in the corner talking amongst themselves the entire time and didn’t care to explain the dishes. For the main course, one of the waiters hid the accompanying sauce for the duck behind the water, which I didn’t realize until I was already half way through the duck. The other customers in the private room were also quite obnoxious and cackled loudly the entire time like they were in a Karaoke bar. The one redeeming quality was getting to chat with the head chef when he did his rounds.

The food here was quite forgettable as well. Save your money and try some modern British establishments while in London.

The waiter forgot our individual order and gave the wrong dish which shouldn’t be justifiable in restaurant of this standard. The food was underwhelming too. I heard many good reviews about the restaurant but I was disappointed and it’s not worthy the price.

The only good thing was the decoration (paintings, flowers, cute and delicate utensils).

Google Bad Review 1:  The worst Indian restaurant ever..
Me and my friend were looking for a good retaurant. But on Friday it was very tough to find any restaurants. So we dicided to go to this restaurant. there were only couple of tables with customers, there were so many available tables. I wondered wht this luxyy, looking good reasutant were empty. But it didn't take too long to find a reason.

1. Team-work failure
Some waiters coudn't even speak English. Even the small requests were asked. I think it's very basic way to take care of the customers in especially hosipitality industry, So in that case his seniors should have come and help him an figure things out.
2. The meals(2 course manu) do not deserve the price at all.
Too much indian spices killed the origin taste of the ingredients.
3. No sense of hygeine
I found a grain of hair in the main menu Butter chicken. Butter chiken is one my favorite food ever in my entire life, But I got sick of it becuase the hair would remand me.
4. Incorrect calculation
After all, they brought the bills. but it was too much than i ever thought. then I asked the manager to be sure. And I found they overcharged upto 60 pounds. there were no appologies at all.

I and my friend were totlally defended from this restaurant.
And now we understand why there were so empty not many customers minewhile the others were full of waiting ques.

Google Bad Review (2):  I would like to start of by saying Corneilu who was
looking after us was very good. He took our drinks
order and food order in good time and starters
came out quickly. The mess that happened after
wasn't his fault, he was rushed of his feet and all the time I was there he was jumping from table to table.

Now into the issues. The starters came and were
fine. Then it took an hour for our mains to arrive. And they only arrived because Corneilu chased it up.

After an hour waiting the prawns came out. They sat on the table and got cold because it took a further 1Ominutes for anything else to come out.
Burger came out cold too. The curry and naan were fine. Now we asked for the prawns and burger to be reheated or re cooked. Or something. Prawns came out again and were fine. But my burger was basically microwaved. It was a pile of Sloppy mushy mess. One bite and couldn't stomach it anymore.

This was just the issue with the food and service.
Issues started before we even arrived. Got a call to confirm reservation and was informed there was a party of 45 but they can “accommodate” us I was told. Excuse me? Accommodate me? I booked a month in advance. No one's doing me a favour here.

Anyway should have listened to warning signs. Got there and it was like being at a corporate party. Someone was having their work do. Giving speeches. Walking around. Laughing and giggling. And while we're sitting there they're moving furniture about. Right through the restaurant.

All this and it's supposed to be my wedding
anniversary meal. Safe to say I will never be
there again and I do not recommend it to anyone at

Absolute shambles.

I will be sharing this with a few chefs and critics who work with our boss as well as the top concierge services and lifestyle management teams in London and Dubai to ensure that word gets around and their clients do not experience an ounce of this appalling service (imagine how embarrassed they would be!!).

Booking made on Opentable for our boss and when we call to ask questions about the menu – a very rude lady ignores our question; doesn't even say hi; starts interrogating about when our table is and that she is going to email to take a £25 per person deposit. They are a new restaurant trying to steal £25 per person deposit, are they mad?! Not even a top restaurant in London, New York, Los Angeles does that. Sounds like they are desperate for money. But, they have a timeout deal on which is £25 per person with 6 sharing dishes to attract customers… !! She also lied and said that lasts only until 6pm on 15th Feb which is untrue, it says on timeout it is 5.30pm until late (except 14th Feb).

Rude, rude people. I cannot believe such people are permitted to work in “mayfair” . No wonder my boss could not believe such a cheap deal is on offer in Mayfair… He said if they have a cheap deal like that there must eb a BIG issue. Goes to show they are struggling or they would not hire such poor quality staff but invest in higher quality, skilled staff who know how to behave.

Google Bad Review 1:  I was actually quite shocked by the service/quality of food we got from here, after reading the reviews me and my girlfriend were excited to try what seemed to be a hidden gem. Firstly the service left a lot to be desired, when we arrived I walked in to ask to sit down and barely got a response, when my girlfriend asked for a glass of tap water she was told she could only have still/sparkling bottles of water, denying a customer a glass of tap water is illegal but we are not pedantic people so we still looked forward to our meal. The starters were actually decent even though the portion sizes left A LOT to be desired.

I ordered the lamb shank for my main dish, after the tandoori chicken being cooked so well I was very excited to try the lamb, sadly it wasn’t up the scratch whatsoever. Some parts were cooked nicely but other parts were either undercooked or very very overdone. The presentation for the lamb was awful too, it was just thrown on a mountain of vegetables with a sauce all over it, I did not look good at all. The bread I ordered was terrible, the nan bread was underdone and in some parts the dough was raw.. the roti simply wasn’t roti.. it was over cooked and hard and it had absolutely 0 flavour. The rice was fine but then I guess if you can’t do rice correctly then you have big problems.

My girlfriend ordered the king prawn curry, she said the sauce was tasty but the prawns were not good quality and tasted old. Her nan bread by all accounts was fine but all other aspects of the meal were a big let down.

We only seemed to get a smile out of the waiter once we left, when we arrived the place was empty and other restaurants on the street seemed to have no problem attracting customers. Given that, if I owned this business and I was previously empty on a Wednesday night not long after things reopened I would make sure whoever came into my establishment was made feel welcome and looked after. Our bill came to £63 and I asked to pay with card, the gentleman who had been “looking after us”for the evening very bluntly asked for cash and when I told him I had none and nothing was mentioned about cash before he just walked away and grabbed the card machine, then made a point of saying “no service charge, not included.” Very rudely and walked away. To the owners/management I would recommend firstly you don’t get fake reviews as in the long run people WILL find out, probably explains why the people of the local area were not coming here. I work in hospitality myself and I know how hard it can be but your staff really need training in their customer service skills.. we will not come back.
