Google Bad Review (2):  I do not recommend this company nor understand why eBay push their sellers to use them. Please read even though it is a long review. There is so much to cover. Where do I start? They were pushy on the phone with getting the loan and didn’t give me time to decide. He didn’t tell me the options, just said which one was recommended and pushed me to take it. I signed all the documents while on the phone. The money entered my account and it all seemed fine, just a bit pushy.

I then get numerous phone calls, emails and texts saying the payments aren’t going through. The first agent I spoke to said the direct debit wasn’t set up and it was my fault for not doing it and I need to re-sign the documents. 2 weeks go by and I have set up the direct debit again, spoken to more agents, each time asking them why they haven’t taken any money. No one could give me a straight answer, they all said something different, or said they would call me back but didn’t. Bearing in mind each email had gentle threats about bailiffs, this was keeping me up at night with worry. On a Saturday morning they sent me an official looking email saying if I didn’t pay up in 3 days they would pass may case on to the bailiffs. I called them immediately, very distraught and they told me if I paid £177 they wouldn’t pass my case over. I paid it, they assured me the direct debit would now work and it was all fine.

Of course it wasn’t, a week later more phone calls, texts and emails came through. I must have sent well over a dozen emails. Not a single one was responded to. I was sick of phoning them just to be told no one knew why the payments were not going through and no one offered help. Given I hadn’t done anything wrong, this was very stressful. I was the one contacting them asking why they hadn’t taken the money but was treated as though I was avoiding payments.

When questioned why my emails were ignored they blamed a system error. So not a single email went through? But you could email me? Ok. I finally managed to set up a weekly direct debit of £105 to get the loan down, but bearing in mind the agreement was for 20% of my sales, and some weeks I would only get £200, The percentage was supposed to be balanced. £105 a week regardless of my earnings was a bit steep considering I have other bills to pay.

After a long bank holiday weekend where eBay sellers receive no money for 4 days, I was phoned at 8am on the day the payment was due, I missed the call so they left a voicemail saying the payment didn’t go through and I needed to call them back immediately. I emailed them and said the money would go through at 2.30pm as my bank allows me extra time for payments. I was phoned again at 9am, I answered and said the money would go through today. He then said “I take it you can’t make the payment then” what?? He also claimed he spoke to me on April 12th. Which, never happened. I told him I had plenty of screenshots proving my side of the story.

I have now paid the loan off in full through a debt consolidation loan. I have incurred more debt just to get rid of the stress. This company has given me so much grief over the last few months. Endless threats, phone calls, emails, texts. Ironically when I phoned up yesterday to pay it off in full they were apologetic and treated me like a real human. I have all my original emails, including the one which stated I had set up the direct debit in the first place. Also, as the connection expires every 90 days they were emailing me asking me to renew the connection. Yet they told me that I didn’t set it up?

Fair enough having teething problems but each phone call felt like I was talking to a random person off the street who didn’t even work there. No one ever passed me on to someone who could help, nothing ever happened. It feels like they made me look as bad as possible, perhaps to push people to pay it off early? I don’t know. But I do not recommend this company to ANYONE.
