Google Bad Review 1:  I got stuck in a room with a court yard view for 1 week. The court yard view looks directly into other guest rooms and the adjacent hall way. Thus, if you want privacy you need to keep your curtains closed.

Additionally the room was cramped and I felt quite claustrophobic.

The hotel staff didn't replenish the free water bottles daily during the entire week.

The hotel staff shut down two of four elevators to service the rooftop nightclub which caused major congestion and Long elevator wait times in the evening. Also, the music at the nightclub was very loud and could be heard from inside my room on the 8th floor until very late.

The free cookie at check-in was delicious.

Overall, if you're after a free delicious cookie, then this is the hotel for you. Otherwise, just pay for the cookie and go elsewhere.

Google Bad Review 1:  The security at the door are not trained well and are very rude.
I was standing at the door waiting for a friend, but it was cold so I asked to stand inside while I wait.

The response was very dismissive slamming the door in my face.

Another man standing next to me was also trying to get in but had walked out of the venue to speak to a friend on the phone. He was in fact a very good friend of Nick Maison who was performing tonight.

He clearly had a ticket to get in but security refused to even speak to the man.

Its very surprising for an establishment that has fantastic musicians to have such terrible service. I will not be coming back to the Round House and will advise all my friends that there are better places to go to.

Your staff need better training on how to talk to their customers.

Google Bad Review (2):  A fantastic live performance from the Hot 8 and Kinetika Bloco – but the whole experience was ruined by a terribly run cloakroom. The cloakroom is not cheap, but we were happy to pay to keep it safe. HOWEVER, on going to collect our belongings, we had to wait in a hot, stuffy queue with a couple of hundred other people. Security informed us the cloakroom staff finished their shift at 11pm…just as the gig finished, so there was no one there to serve the crowd.
Having emailed customer services to express how ridiculous this is, the response was quite rude and didn't acknowledge any problem with the service. I will not be returning to the venue.
I missed my last train due to waiting in the queue for 2 hours to retrieve my belongings. I can't have been the only one.

Google Bad Review (2):  This was our company day out and unfortunately it got ruined. Let's start with the fact that upon our arrival, the only member of staff present was already in a kayak leaving with other client. When a while later someone else turned up, we were asked to leave the premises (!) and come back later. Once in the water, there wasn't that much entertainment or instruction. The staff were clearly disorganised and most likely irritated, because they were not particularly pleasant to be around, especially a guy called Mike who just kept shouting. Everything was just chaotic. Overall experience was not great, which is a shame because it could have been so much fun!

Google Bad Review 1:  I had initially been at the work life office for over a year and when I first came to Work Life I felt like a valued member of the Work Life community. Towards the later part of my time there after the initial 6 months, I began to feel increasingly uncomfortable as I felt my image and persona didn’t fit the work life personality that they were looking for, and the dynamics of my business were too vibrant.

As time went on, I began to become unfairly singled out and have had my actions scrutinized unduly.

I was one told by a member of staff at work life that I needed to inform staff members of the names, times and dates of when I received any visitors. I complied as I thought this was standard protocol. Only after speaking with other worklife members I soon realized that this form of regulation was only imposed on me and no one else. When I question staffed as to why this was the case, no substantial reason was provided.

This was one of several incidents which I won’t name.

On January 2017 I came home from work to receive an email to say our membership had been terminated because we had visitors ( We are a business of course we have to meet with clients).

After 2 emails attempts and 3 phone calls attempts to the work life director to get further clarification about the issue and to discuss it formally, I stopped. They ignored my attempts and left me upset, my business in a state of disarray and our clients & staff surprised at how a business could treat people this way.

The worklife office looks good, has good facilities and some of the staff are some what friendly, however if your in with the worklife cool crowd or good friends with the staff this would determine your experience.
If my image was different In my heart I believe I would have be treated differently.

Google Bad Review (2):  The way work life treated us at Jelingu was not right, when I visited the building for the second time to have a meeting with some people we was told there was a time limit on how long we could say for – 1 hour.
1 hours is a good amount of time if you your meeting to chat about the weather but to be told your time in the building is restrict to 1hour is ridiculous. Nice place but not a serious set up for real business's and people that also require a business environment that takes into account the different needs of each business. – “We dont all sell harbios on the sock market ” some of us actually do some work !

You cannot fault the facility in general, but try misplacing your coat and see the service you get. “You will have to sit down there somewhere for 20 minutes and wait until I get time to help you” was the standard of professional service I got today. It was nothing short of a nightmare, part of which included having an imposing security guard eye balling with intense heat and anger, whilst we reviewed the CCTV footage. The most bizarre thing was they requested that I apologise to one of the big fellas due to making him ‘feel bad'! I suppose it didn't matter as my £350 coat turned up.
