Google Bad Review 1:  Slightly late in posting this review, but feel as though I have to say that buying a house through Acorn was difficult to say the least. Jake, who was their sales manager was rude and sarcastic, and would often avoid contact with myself or my wife to stop himself having to give us bad news, and would often send younger less experienced staff down to meet us at the property. The purchase did go through in the end, but I would never recommend using acorn estates to anyone, much better estate agents available in the area.

Google Bad Review (2):  We have had a terrible experience with this branch.
The negotiator we dealt with (Daniel) passed us from pillar to post, often ignored any correspondence, and strung us along right up to the day of moving.
After moving in, Acorn have allowed our landlord to breach the terms signed to on 3 counts and have made no effort to do anything about this, leaving us in a situation with no access to part of the property and now we have had to pay for storage elsewhere due to this.
Would not deal with Acorn again. An absolute shambles from start to finish.

Google Bad Review 1:  My initial impression of Daniel Cobb Westminster was a positive one. From viewing the flat to signing the contract, everything was done quite promptly and the service was friendly enough. Once we moved in though, the service was a let down, particularly when dealing with the property management team. On one occasion, I was asked by Reagan to confirm dates for a routine check of the property. I made arrangements to work from home on the dates agreed to accommodate their request and ended up with no one turning up twice. Eventually, I just got told it would have to be moved to another month as she was very busy – not even sure that visit ended up taking place. Not the best service! When emailing to flag maintenance issues, it also took a lot of chasing to get a response. This has improved slightly since being given a different property manager, but I did find myself without a response to an issue flagged to Salome as well so may be a common occurrence across the whole team. Renewal fees should also be confirmed over email when communicating with tenants – although these may have been specified in the original contact agreed the year prior, it seems like common courtesy to remind tenants of this when starting the process over email – just came across a bit sneaky and put me off them even more. Overall just an underwhelming experience.

Google Bad Review 1:  Arranged a viewing of a flat with Sarah and received a confirmation email however she never turned up to the viewing.

After waiting 20 minutes outside the flat I called the agency and was told by a curt staff member my message would be ‘passed on'. No apology was given and the matter was not treated with any urgency.

It's now been several days and I was never contacted back regarding the incident or given an explanation (or apology).

Awful experience, certainly would not recommend this Estate Agency.

Google Bad Review 1:  I'm really unsure why anyone gives Langford Russell 5 stars. I'm beyond frustrated and disappointed by the situation my husband and I have been through with them. We rented our home out for two years and paid a premium to Langford Russell to ensure we had decent tenants and that our home was taken care of. We recently moved back to the property and have been shocked by the amount of damage to the property and the battle we have to get even the smallest amount of the deposit back which at this rate, looks very unlikely. I never felt supported by Langford Russell at any point, apart from one member of the team, Robert who always replied to requests and did his best- thank you Robert. Unfortunately the rest of the team are useless. Our tenants smashed a window, destroyed our 100 year old original front door and the blind in the front room was damaged beyond repair. This is just the tip of the ice berg. I have no idea how they vet tenants or carry out inspections. I'm frustrated, upset and frankly so fed up and wanted to give some honest feedback for future customers to consider.
