Google Bad Review 1: Decided to try this place the other evening, I done 12 minutes as I do at my usual tan shop and the 4 others I have used before which I have been doing regularly over the past 2 years. Since using the one at Sunkissed I have had 2nd degree burns which required a&e and I am in unbearable pain to the point I can’t sit stand or walk properly. Please for everyone’s safety don’t make the mistake I did and use this tanning shop !!

Google Bad Review (2): Shocking customer service and duty of care, resulting in painful burns 3 days before my wedding day. Looking to try sunbeds for the first time to get a natural-looking tan before my wedding, I was advised to buy the 3-session package on the SunAngel. The first 2 sessions made absolutely no difference to my skin colour, so disappointed with the result and having paid £50, I was told by the girl on the desk at my 3rd session that most use standard sunbeds ALONGSIDE the SunAngel course – defeating the object of paying the higher price for a course advertised as giving a better, less harmful tan than standard beds. She also informed me that I shouldn't have been using the sensor on the palest part of my body, as demonstrated by the girls at both of the previous 2 sessions and by the product website itself. Despite stressing that I was anxious not to burn before my wedding at the end of the week, she advised 10 MINUTES on the standard bed which as a first-timer I followed, after which I received painful burns across my body which are still as severe 3 days on. This was incredibly poor advice to give a new client resulting in pain and redness, a £60 spend and not being able to use my final SunAngel session before the wedding due to the burns. Going back to show the results and request a refund, instead of writing a poor review without offering the chance of an apology, the manager agreed that the service given had been appalling throughout, ON TOP OF informing me that the bulbs had also been changed the previous week which I was supposed to have been informed of. He agreed on a full refund, however on meeting him the next day to collect it in person he immediately implied that I was overreacting, commenting that the burn “wasn't that bad”, making it necessary for me to have to expose the burnt areas on the shop floor to prove I wasn't lying (see photos). He then handed me a sealed envelope containing £10 less than agreed. When I called him up on this he began to argue over the top of me, alongside the girl on the desk who'd advised the inexplicably long 10 minute session, that I didn't deserve a refund for a service I'd bought and used part of – despite it being a terrible service that has resulted in injury and a result far from that desired. This resulted in an incredibly rude and confrontational standoff until he reluctantly gave me the full amount and swore at me as I left the shop. And here is the bad review as a result, justified for the attitude alone.
