Google Bad Review: Excuse after excuse – I took a lightweight mac to be dry cleaned on Thursday 19th August 2021 and was told it would be ready by Wednesday 25th. The charge was £15 and they tried to charge me a further £2 for paying by card!. I was unable to collect on 25th so went on 26th to find the mac had not been done. The first excuse was that they had had Covid the previous week but were “OK” now. Clearly not correct (I speak as someone who has been personally dealing with the covid pandemic since April 2020), I was told the mac would be ready in an hour, but as I was working I arranged to call for it on Tuesday 31st August. As I entered the shop, the woman behind the counter said that I had said I would go in on Wednesday. I corrected her, and she then said that they had tried to clean the mac but some marks had not come out. The marks she showed me were in places that there hadn't been any marks when I took the mac in for cleaning. She then said she would do it again and it would be ready in half an hour!. I refused to wait and took the mac with me. This is not a dry cleaners I would use again nor recommend to anyone. It was excuse after excuse after excuse, and definitely not good value for money, or professional service. Beware!!!
