You’ll be told £50-80 on the phone and when you’re there they’ll convince you that your pet seriously needs £300+ worth of checks EVERY time. Over the years I’ve spent thousands there yet They’ll make you feel like you’re a bad pet owner when you’re unsute wether to proceed with a certain check or service they offer or being able to afford their extortionate services. £50 for eye drops that are £4 online. Blood pressure check £40 but machine is £18 online. Blood test is £98 on offer with surgery and in brackets it says that it’s usually £160. Vet Nicoleta Neagu didn’t know receptionist gave me the price and paperwork already and she come out trying to tell me It’s £250. When I showed her the paperwork with the other prices she froze and stuttered and didn’t know what to say and tried claiming ‘oh they’re a different blood test’ even though he didn’t need a blood test at all. she is just interested in collecting commission from whatever services and products she can upsell you. told me she doesn’t know what’s wrong with my cat and he will need to see a specialist at a third party hospital but she still wants to do £500+ worth of checks before then. Even admitted my cat looks healthy and that the extra checks will have no link to his issue but she wants to do it ‘just’. These vets are very commercial so it’s best to go to an independent vet or charity vets.

Google Bad Review:  I HATE SPECSAVERS ENFIELD!!

I went to Specsavers Palace Exchange last week to get my eyes tested. I bought 2 pairs of designer range glasses. they had the prescription so i just chose the frames and handed the back for the lenses to be made, one clear lens and one prescription sunglasses and collect today.

I went to collect me glasses, excited that I'd have a new pair of Karen Milan and DKNY.

The assistant sat me down and got out the glasses for me to try on. I was shocked.

Both glasses were DKNY and one has to wrong prescription lenses , both clear lens – no sun glasses.

I felt I was forced to accept the glasses and leave the shop… the assistant would not accept that they had made a mistake. I now have 2 pairs of DKNY glasses, feel distraught, upset and other words i can't say.

I have an appointment to go back next week…. i am scared and don't want anything to do with Specsavers.
