Google Bad Review 1: I have had a four year card machine agreement with RMS and Elavon have been the bank service provider. The two are actually separate contracts which – although the agreement is signed only with RMS you must cancel the contract with Elavon as a separate issue. The PCI compliance is a challenging task as it does not always work and not user friendly ie if your not an IT proficient. The non compliance cost is £25 per month – which is a lot for a small business on top of all the other small fees and charges you need to keep an eye on. Why don't these providers think about this? small businesses are run by very few people in this case only one person.
I have been in conversation with RMS about my contract terminating earlier as we had ceased trading in january unfortunately they were not sympathetic to our situation the contract officially ends August 2022. In order not to pay the thousands of pounds to exit early i have had to continue the contract with RMS and end the agreement with Elavon as soon as i figured out that you must terminate this separately. This happened March my last bill has been £42 when it's been around £17 with no transactions going through – their minimum fee. When questioned about this – another phone call and several emails later its because the PCI is non compliant – something that could not be done as we ceased trading January. customer service isn't great ‘computer says no” attitude.

Google Bad Review (2): Stay clear! Terrible service. I don’t even use my card machine any more. They informed me the machines stopped working in the new year (I wouldn’t have known as I don’t use it) so they sent me a new one (it’s still in the box) and even after not using either of the machines for over a year and a half now I’ve had untold amounts of charges.
Now I’m being asked for an extra £130 on top of the monthly payments I already pay for the machine I don’t use! As if small businesses havnt had it hard enough the last few years if your involved with a company like this they make it even harder!
Spoke to so many different people, still with no resolution and no real explanation for what the charges are actually for. I don’t believe they even train their staff as after speaking to so many different people the problem is still not solved and now I have received a letter from a debt collection company.
If I could rate 0 I would, nothing good has come from this contract! The sooner it ends the better.
*edit* I have also since writing this review 6 days ago emailed 3 times including the email Shane provided below still with no reply! Terrible!
