这个律师所相对于其它律所贵很多，但法律问题解决的速度并不会变快，而且还会给你临时加价，前段时间办一个委托卖房的委托书，前面发材料的时候给我说的£600全包，让我给公司帐上转600£，我说可以，但需要发一封正式邮件给我，然后在邮件上突然变成1500£，我问为什么，告诉我说突然发现文书工作有点多……然后我给总台complaint，总台的人说调查，调查完以后说就是那么贵，感觉这个律师要么就是逃税要么就是内部有问题。之后我找了另一个lisa律所同样的委托书355£就全部解决，办事效率超快。相比之下差别太大了……

Google Bad Review (2): This is why people dislike dealing with solicitors.
1. Notarisation is different from certification – and Chan Neill does not have a Notary Public to notarise. You have to arm yourself with accurate information before stepping into this office.
2. Receptionist is ill-informed. When I called for “notarisation” I was told they offer such services, and at an affordable fee. Then when I showed up, I only had a certification of true copy by a solicitor (i.e. Commissioner of Oath) at a fee 7 times the cost the receptionist quoted me – my document was straightforward and the price hike was not due to a complicated document and so she misled me.
3. I was told that there was someone in the firm who was able to perform Notary Public duties but then found out after talking to her that no, she does not do that, but she insisted solicitors are “good enough” to certify these copies, probably as a way to get rid of me as a difficult person since the front desk was unhelpful – my local lawyers abroad have now confirmed they are not “good enough” and I need a “real” Notary Public.
In short I paid for nothing and this is a great self-lesson that I should never trust solicitors.
