Google Bad Review: Not impressed with the treatment of a friend. I understand that their safety and that of others is the most important things, but there is practically no emphasis on treatment and improvement of mental health to prevent them having to return in the future.
They are just left to their own devices and to essentially decay from boredom in this place which looks like a prison. At least have some engaging/self-help books around and some communal games instead of just a pool table with several balls missing. Encourage exercise. Encourage interaction between the attendees. Encourage improvement of self-esteem and a vision of a better life once they leave.
