Google Bad Review (2):  bowled in today to check this place out on the technicality of a mate who recommended me . Got a table for 2 just about without booking. Bowled in pretty chilled atmosphere. ordered some duck, beef , noodles,coke. duck was pretty dead and the mini chapattis looked like microwaved and tasted. didn't like the duck either, the chicken had a bad taste of flavoring, not my thing , beef was nicest. noodles was probably the worst at one point i gagged (not a nice taste and looked rewarmed) , but kept calm and didn't puke. all in all it cost 150 pounds. quite overpriced for what there gave.I hope the chef's are not too offended by what i said but this is my honesty.

Google Bad Review 1:  The food was fine, but a bit overpriced for the value. The outdoors terrace area is nice and servers were fine. My main issue is with the woman employee who was working at the front desk on the first floor during lunch time on May 12, 2021. She told me I had to download the NHS app to check-in, but then proceeded to allow the next customer to check-in without downloading the NHS app. When I asked her about the difference in the way we were treated, this woman just glared at me for several seconds and said it was protocol to download the app. When I asked her why she wasn't making the other customer download the app, she again glared at me for several seconds without saying anything. She couldn't even come up with a reason and just glared at me until I left because the way she was treating me was incredibly disrespectful. I felt extremely uncomfortable and it was obvious by the way she glared at me for a long time that she felt she could treat me poorly. Highly unprofessional and ruined the entire meal for me. No customer should be treated like that.

Google Bad Review (2):  Having eaten in 20-30 times and having ordered delivery 5-10 times here is a realistic review.
The experience of eating in is alright – not an exceptional service and not bad either.
The taste of the food is just like any other Chinese takeaway place. One advantage they used to have over all other Chinese places was the bento box that included combination of multiple items. Unfortunately, during the last one year they removed more and more items from the box and raised the prices dramatically.
The experience of ordering delivery is as bad as it gets. Every single time is the same rude guy on the phone. I have a really hard time understanding how someone can be that rude while just taking a delivery order.
I saw some good reviews for this place – I just do not believe any one of them are genuine.

Avoid!!! – no matter how hungry you are!!!

Google Bad Review 1:  I go to Thai elephant a lot and today I was absolutely disgusted with the service, they was rude and slow, I had been in the restaurant two hours before receiving my mains. They cups are ridiculously dirty so dirty I could probably catch a illness or a cold sore. Their food was beautiful on the other hand even tho I am adamant they have a new chef.

Google Bad Review 1:  This place by far is definitely a tourist trap. If you appreciate Asian cuisine this is not the place to visit. The Ala cart menu vs the cost and quality of food. You might as well be better off eating out of a garbage can. I do not recommend! Even when I provided feedback on the quality of food the staff completely disregard it.
