Google Bad Review 1:  Daniel of Capital Fencing completed our fence, turf and installed wooden sleepers in May 2019. The photos of the end result is advertised on his website and even on his Facebook page.

We fell out with our neighbour because of the mess he left at their house.

It is now June 2020 and our fence has collapsed and wooden sleepers have toppled over in 12 months.

I have had 3 opinions from landscapers who have found that posts weren’t cemented or placed at the correct lengths. The sleepers have been inadequately seated and the overall quality is poor. The contractors have labelled the work as incompetent and are even questioning whether Daniel has deliberately done a bad job for repeat business.

When Daniel was doing the work, he promised me that the work will last for a long time and that he would fix any problems at no cost. He verbally guaranteed me this.

When I told Daniel of the problems, he came to review our garden and wanted to charge me again to repair his poor workmanship.

Now, I don’t like giving bad reviews and I believe that everybody should be given a second chance. Being a medical professional myself, I understand that sometimes things do not go to plan, however, I believe in rectifying my mistakes at my own expense as this is the decent thing to do. Daniel however wants to charge me for a second time to repair his mistakes.

If you do go with him, get a written contract to ensure he does warranty his work. Furthermore, ensure you review the neighbours side of the fence to make sure it is not left in a poorly state.
