Google Bad Review 1:  I've been coming to this salon pretty much since it opened, and I came back again for the same look I've had created by Ella before (ombre). To note: I paid £250 for this, and Ella claimed to have given me a discount as she charged me for mid-length hair as opposed to long (my hair is not long). When I went to pay, she kept adding £30, £40 etc. etc. and at the end said it's a total of £265, but she'll give me a £15 discount, this is outrageous pricing and I did double-check the prices at other slaons, who were shocked at the charge in itself, but horrified when they saw the result (they said the hair looked awful, which it did!).

My hair didn't quite turn out as expected with very gingery blonde bits which I raised the day after when I called the salon, Ella asked me to come in the day of Storm Eunice so she could take a look. I went in at 1pm which was my appointment time, at which point Ella looked at it and said she had a brilliant job and there was nothing wrong. There was clearly a few things wrong, including the gingery orange blonde bits, the fact that the blonde was SO high up, it was hardly an ombre look as there was no middle colour or blending for the transition of dark to light. So at that point she refused to do anything to resolve, even though I'd booked an appointment and had travelled in, in such bad weather conditions. I mentioned that something needed to be done, she then said she's busy and to come back 3 hours later where she'd add some brown in to bring down the fade, even though the salon was completely empty. I came in later, at which point en route, she called to say she has changed her mind and will not add colour or do anything else to help resolve the issue. I still persisted and went in as it needed sorting, there was a lot of aggressive behaviour and chat, not how you'd speak to any human being, and she basically pinned all the blame on me. It looked so awful in the end that I had to go somewhere else, to get a blanket dark colour on top so I can give my hair a rest from the terrible job and the amount of gingery bleach added. I'm deeply disappointed in the service I received, the amount I paid (£250 out of pocket) and the lack of empathy from Ella to understand what I wanted and the end result. I will not be returning and I'd encourage others to avoid this awful salon, unless you're ok to be verbally abused by a very hot and cold salon manager. At such difficult times where people are struggling mentally and financially, I think it's awful to be ripping people off by adding charges at the till when the customer is ready to pay, I hope the money you earn by cheating your customers only leads to your failure, because from the reviews I can see it wasn't just me. Absolutely awful.
