Google Bad Review 1: Avoid this care home. My mother was poorly cared for in OLD WELL HOUSE FROGNAL. When we moved her to another care home the nurses immediately discovered that my mother had not been kept clean in her private region. She in fact was black and blue in that area with severe green discharge. Within 2 days she was in hospital for 2 weeks with infections to her lungs, lower region and her womb. How the hell did this go unnoticed and unreported by staff. We was told by the hospital staff that it was touch and go whether she would recover. Thankfully she did. I asked the manager at Sunrise of Frognal to see my mothers records(ALL RECORDS) and was told i had to fill out a form to be able to access them, even though i have power of attorney for her health and welfare. I filled out the form and gave it in. 3 months on i still have not received copies of these records and expect i never will. Thank god we moved her out of Sunrise of frognal. She is now in a nursing home and is being cared for properly. There are many other things i could tell you where they are lacking but it would take forever. Highly overpriced for the care and support given and entertainment for residents has diminished greatly over recent years, residents left sitting unattended for hours while staff stand around chatting or completing paperwork instead of interacting with residents.
