Google Bad Review 1: Worst receptionist ever and that I'd their front door. I swear one of the receptionist has a mental heath challenge. One minute can be normal next can be very rude. You would think the sign they put up about clients being rude their staff is license for the reverse. Doctors are wonderful but at this point would just try change surgery.

Google Bad Review (2): Been a member of this surgery for the past 3 years and never once felt comfortable here.
Horrible and rude receptionists. They don't give information when asked and don't give appointments even when they are available.
The rare case they do is when you tell them all your medical problems and history even when you don't want to for privacy & because they are not doctors.
I've had Megi(I'd asked her name) tell me over phone that the next available appointment was in 3 weeks. When I asked if there was anything sooner, she said, “It's a busy time, you have to take an appointment in advance.” When I said, “I don't know when I'll fall ill.” I was responded with, “Next appointment is in 3 weeks.”
I got to know about emergency appointments only through IAPT.
And later I wasn't given emergency appointments even when I had panic attacks as “they were not an emergency” even when I explained I was having problem breathing.
I called twice when I was feeling at risk & unsafe, and got rude responses and no help at all. This, even though IAPT & CIPTS say your GP should give you an emergency appointment if you're feeling at risk.
I tried to talk to Dr Amit Abbott about it, and he talked to me condescendingly about how getting appointments is always hard. That doctors are busy and people like children and pregnant women need them. Implying other people's needs are less important?
Once I'd got a blood test done. I got a call from the reception that my results were back and I needed to see the doctor. Then later I got another call saying that there was no action needed from my side. When I said I had got completely different information a while back, the receptionist said she had no idea about what was said to me earlier. I had to go in to the surgery to confirm the next steps. When I told the receptionist, a black woman (identifier for later), that I was told two opposite things, she defensively said, “See this is what happened when you get impatient and call us before your complete results are back.” When I told her I never called and both times they had called me, she checked the information and started explaining that two different people make comments on the patient's tests, still never explaining the discrepancy or what I needed to do. I had to eventually take a doctor's appointment to clarify that.
At times I asked for after hours appointment but was told they were not for me (?!) and got annoyed responses when I asked for more information.
Once I was being told no appointment until next two weeks, so I told her I'd been bleeding for 3 days from a fissure, that's when she said OK come this week Thursday! And it was NOT even an emergency appointment, so why was that time not offered to me earlier?
Recently I had a long seizure like attack and was taken to the A&E, after which I was told to see the GP. And of course, to get an appointment, I had to tell the receptionist the whole A&E story without which she refused to proceed. And after the story, she told me to get an emergency appointment later at 4 pm.
Once I asked the receptionist about the after hours appointments, she said, “we don't do them”. When I said my husband got one a few weeks ago, she said we do only on Monday and Wednesday and today is Monday and they are all gone! So the next appointment is Thursday. I asked what about Wednesday and she irritably said you've asked enough number of times, the next appointment is on Thursday.
Yesterday I went in for my appointment. Their check-in kiosk crashed twice when I tried it, so I went to the reception where I was treated by the same black receptionist (as mentioned above) with utter disrespect. She kept gesturing rudely, telling me to wait behind the SIGN, let random people in front of me and was unapologetic even when I got late because of all this!
This is their level of communication where they are rude, give little to no information, lie about appointments, get defensive/ never admit their mistakes and then behave as if they are doing us a favour. It's unprofessional, unethical and a disgrace to the profession.
