My husband went in for an initial treatment of acupuncture and I paid for another 5 which meant getting 2 more free (7 in total) They asked if I wanted to use the longer needles which I said definitely NOT to (they are £10 per session dearer), so the total cost was £225 for 5 sessions of acupuncture with a 10 minute massage at the end. (£45 per session)
After the second session, my husband was in agony, so went in for the third session today asking that whatever had been done last time to be reversed. He never got a massage at the end.
My husband asked for a refund of the last two installments and they argued that he would be better off carrying on with the treatment, but after three sessions leaving him in more pain than when he started, he said no, just the money back please.
They said that they had been treating him with the longer needles, which I had declined, and so would only refund £60.
Therefore, I've paid out £165 for three treatments, one of which didn't come with a massage and my husband is in more pain than when he started. I am NOT impressed.
