Google Bad Review: The following words define Smartspace
1. Unorganised
2. Requires repetitive chasing for any issues in the property
3. Favourite lie “he will call you back”
4. No sense of responsibility
5. Small team but no teamwork, no one will discuss your issues unless the person assigned is not available.
I have been their tenant for 7 months with a major toilet issue in the flat and till this day I have to chase them every other day to find out about the fix. As mentioned above no sense of responsibility. Unorganised.
Me, my family with a Baby have to live with the foul drainage stench for the last 7 months and still no response to the repairs.
They have sent several contractors but never has anyone agreed to fix the toilet siphon.
They lack professionalism and I believe they so not have the required skills to handle tasks such as toilet repairs for flats.
So Landlord if you have a newly built property do not bother giving them the property as they would not know how to manage it due to lack of experience with new builds.
WARNING TO TENANTS- please do not sign on with these guys. You will suffer, you will beg for help but no one will help you.
WARNING TO LANDLORDS- beware of this agency, they will frustrate your tenants.
SO PLEASE AVOID THIS AGENCY.
See photos of the toilet hole left in my flat for 7 months and still on going.
The toilet finally got Fixed after 1 year or begging them to fix it. Oh and with no compensation for my rent.
UPDATE 03/08/20
After reporting heating, lighting, kitchen tap, bath issues a total of 11 times still not had a single person from the repairs team contact me to fix any of those issue.
They promise you that heating is an urgent issue and will be fixed within 48 hours. But no call no updates just petty emails to say that someone will call me to take me off their backs.
But when my rent is due, suddenly their services is like Mr Sarwar this and that. Once the rent is paid no contact at all.
Just a pathetic team with extremely poor management
Landlords please learn a lesson and don't torture your tenants by assigning to them.
Piece of advice to ZAIN (the manager) at smart space invest in an advance ticketing system so your team can keep up with their work.
UPDATE (24/05/21)
The appalling services from Smart space continues. My fridge and microwave has stopped working and I called the emergency line at 830am, it's 1109am now and when I called the office the repairs team are in their morning meeting. The emergency number asked me to send photos of the fridge which I did and the automated response says 48 hours? Are you kidding me? A home with 2 toddlers with meat in the freezer and this is how they treat their emergencies.
LANDORDS please do not torture your tenants by going with Smart Space. They are cheap for a reason and their services to tenants is non existent.
Horrible management and horrible treatment to tenants. I shall report them to Croydon Council now for their negligent services will find a link and post it here. I can see other tenants are also suffering.
