Google Bad Review:  I rented my property through this company. I told Best Homes that I do not want someone that is on benefits, have pets of smoked. Apart from that I am fine with their choice. The person they rented to had fake (forged) references that Best Homes did not check out. Within three 3 days of the tenant moving in she contacted me and said that she would not be paying her rent as she was on housing benefit.

I contacted Best Homes who told me that she was self-employed and on a good income. It took 18 months and three court hearing to get rid of the tenant. The tenant still owes my over £4000 and Best Homes has washed their hands of the entire affair. The police told me that Best Homes were under a duty of care to check the references (they didn't). My MP sent Best Homes a letter saying that Best Homes were incumbent to pay me the missing money (they didn't).

I wish I had never heard of this company.
