Google Bad Review 1:  I consider 20 minutes not enough for a proper teeth cleaning. Living in the US I got used to the American standards where hygienists spend at least 45 minutes with each patient. No wonder the American smile is unbeatable.

Having been a patient at the clinic for more than three years with regular bi-monthly hygiene visits I had called the clinic for an appointment the other day. I was told I needed to pay a deposit of 30 pounds to secure the appointment. I did not have my card handy and asked them to book my appointment and indicated I would call later. I was unable to call later but when I did call first thing next morning I was told the appointment had been cancelled as I had not paid the deposit before the end of the day.
A minor event but it is reflective of the overwhelmingly greed and money centric private dental care in the UK. I mean at the very least the clinic could call a patient and say : “Hey we haven't received your deposit can you please pay if you wish to retain the appointment”. Especially considering it's a patient who has been visiting for three years. Basically expect zero courtesy or consideration even if you have been a patient for years and spent a thousand plus.
They do have a competent and friendly dentist and an excellent hygienist but the reception and manager team needs training in etiquette and common courtesy.
