Google Bad Review:  Steer Clear! Has been reported to Trading Standards and Gas Safe. Inexperienced (20 something kid) running this as a one man band.

He can talk his way especially if you know nothing about technicalities. Brags about working for celebrities etc (not that we asked or it was of any consequence).Tried to charge £250 plus VAT in addition to the £65 when he was appointed to do a Gas Certificate on false pretense of various faults and gas leak.

Threatened to cut off the gas if we didn't pay him the extra sum, as ‘his license would be at risk' if we didn't comply. Then asked that we pay the £65 in cash and he would leave with no paper trail (of course I refused – paid by bank transfer and got his report). Did not allow him to cut off supply although he turned off Gas and Boiler before he left and suggested I turn it on once he leaves the property (don't ask!).

Thank God we didn't succumb! National Grid came in for free 30mins after him and gave us the all clear. There was no leak and absolute no need for any additional work. They did say few things to be done as best practice but not required for a Gas Safe Certificate. On reviewing his report they suggested we report him.

Absolute scam. If you are to engage with the business keep your wits and ask the right questions. Do some research and don't fall for the talk and the urgency of any faults or works that he may make up. Be warned!
