If you value your education and want to have a professional career then pray that you are not dealt the Barking and Dagenham college card. Being part of this “Educational” institution has caused me to lose faith in the education system of this country.

they may come across as a professional and well organised college but this could not be further from the case. The money that they receive is pumped into the college architecture and a small fraction is used for the benefit of the students education.

The agency that the college is paired with literally sends anyone to teach a course, it doesn't matter what degree they have they will try and teach that course. the teaching techniques are a complete shambles, they get a lesson plan off the internet , read it word for word and ask you to complete it.

all the money they receive and 75% of the computers do not work. This college is one of the best scams that i have come across as soon as they receive that student finance from you you are on your own.

the hygiene of the teachers is also of a 3rd world country, maybe the college should do a hygiene test before they employ these “Teachers”.

Teachers speak broken English this makes it difficult to learn, it seems that the teachers are hired from some sort of border control agency.

to sum this review up

all i have learn from the college is that Halal cheese sandwich's exist.

Google Bad Review 1:  Studied HNC Construction & the Built Environment (Civil Engineering) on a Friday part time. This college is awful completely regret coming here!! from the very beginning we were messed around, enrolment for both years is a nightmare!
At the end of year 1 the teacher left but gave me the incorrect grade so now its my word against a teacher they can't contact then to top it off the teachers for year 2 seemed to have no idea about anything unless its in a published book or another teachers notes! The last 8 weeks its like all help has stop and assignments are being done with zero understanding (god forbid any of this come up in my career) Now we're into 5 weeks till term ends there just wasting time even when you have a question they can't help as since they don't have a clue.

The facilities are far below a decent standard, the computers never seem to work and internet connection is slow, their library is one of the loudest rooms i have ever been in let alone a library which closes at 1530 on a Friday thanks.

Google Bad Review 1:  Whatever you do please do not waste time and money at this sham of a college. The support staff are lazy, disorganised and incompetent. The heads of department rarely respond to emails and are not abreast of what is going. The teachers couldn’t care less. It took over a year before we received our certificates during which time several members of staff quit and barely anyone responded to emails, messages or knew the status of our certificates. It wasn’t until we threatened legal action that we received a swifter response. I had to threaten legal action twice to receive a refund for one course (over £1000) and for the other course where my certificate still hadn’t materialised almost a year later. Absolute disgrace. This place should be reported to the council and various examining bodies but I can’t be bothered to put myself through additional stress.

I suggest you get the employees to do more training.They have few and even confused ideas.I lost count of how many times from the ground floor, They sent me to the second floor and vice versa .It wasn't NO FUNNY! After I took the assessment,They quietly told me that they didn;t have classroom to put me in class.It was ridiculous and nonsensical.

At LCBT you will experience rude unhelpful staff, disruptive students and lying tutors who only care about making the college as much money as possible by enticing new comers with empty promises. If you're thinking about studying here THINK AGAIN! Stick to your local colleges, you DO NOT get your money's worth at LCBT it's all a hype! The conditions are basic, tutors disappear during class for a long time, you're not allowed your phone or bag in class, you have to keep it in a locker FAR AWAY FROM YOUR CLASS ROOM, you have to carry around all your equipment & HEAVY theory book everywhere you go up and down flights of stairs with no lifts & travel from one building to the next. There's too much theory, not enough practicals, the practicals are rushed and not well taught, it's horrible here! NOT WORTH THE COURSE FEE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Google Bad Review 1:  This is the worst college I've ever attended. The staff don't communicate with each other, they equipment don't work, I was first told i was able to just do level 4 laser which I got approved a loan for when I started I was then asked to leave due to me needing to also doing lever 3 as I didn't have enough qualifications so I had to apply for another loan which I did so i had to miss 3 week (3 sessions) as I was waiting to get my loan letter. When I returned i received a email saying I've been removed from the course due to poor attendance which I made them aware it was there error, they resolved this (didn't apologise) I then made them aware I needs a day off as I was attending my best friends wedding abroad which they said was ok and when I arrived back in the uk I again received another email stating I've been removed from the course. This college is poorly run, products are out of date and equipment don't work!!! I will be taking this later further

If you value your education and want to have a professional career then pray that you are not dealt the Barking and Dagenham college card. Being part of this “Educational” institution has caused me to lose faith in the education system of this country.

they may come across as a professional and well organised college but this could not be further from the case. The money that they receive is pumped into the college architecture and a small fraction is used for the benefit of the students education.

The agency that the college is paired with literally sends anyone to teach a course, it doesn't matter what degree they have they will try and teach that course. the teaching techniques are a complete shambles, they get a lesson plan off the internet , read it word for word and ask you to complete it.

all the money they receive and 75% of the computers do not work. This college is one of the best scams that i have come across as soon as they receive that student finance from you you are on your own.

the hygiene of the teachers is also of a 3rd world country, maybe the college should do a hygiene test before they employ these “Teachers”.

Teachers speak broken English this makes it difficult to learn, it seems that the teachers are hired from some sort of border control agency.

to sum this review up

all i have learn from the college is that Halal cheese sandwich's exist.

During the assessment the teacher demonstrated dubious assessment techniques of manually pulling my spine back as far as it would go, ( knowing I’m hypermobile) twisting it , then aggressively compressing through my cranium and spine until I cried out in pain. I left with back pain I didn’t have when I walked in. This is before any actual treatment ! Unbelievable.
