Used to come here as a young man with my friends. Back then it was the poshest place around and the food was amazing.

Now its not even a shadow of its former self. We were the only ones in there the whole evening with no collections or takeaways.

The food wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either. “Mediocre” which is at best average and nothing you'd want to come back for.

Very sad. Goodbye Wings. I will be surprised if you make it past Christmas 2021.

Google Bad Review (2):  Unfortunately the restaurant is nothing as it used to be. I've heard many stories of the great food that Wings Restaurant used to serve. But that is not the case anymore…

It was bad from the moment Mr and my partner stepped in. It was really quiet, only one table was taken by a couple of customers. We asked where can we sit to which the waiter answered ‘anywhere' – I guess that included the two tables that still had dirty dishes on. We decided to look past it and still have some food. It's sad to say that it was the worse Chinese food I've ever had, actually it was the worse meal in a restaurant I've ever had. Greasy, stinky and just all around disgusting. Will not be returning.

We intend to come for dim sum just after 4pm to allow the for lunch service to slow knowing how disorganised the staff are . This time had to be there at 2:30pm,, never again for sure .
Total shambles and useless staff
I clearly placed an order for the soup and tea separately from rest of the food with good 10 minutes difference .
Still no soup, rest the food arrived first which I asked for to be sent back to the kitchen and for the soup first . Oviousaly the food arrived cold when needed…!!
You would think after all of those years there , the management would have a basic commonsens to train the staff …
Really shame, we like the food, but the service is not even street good standard .

Google Bad Review 1:  Me and my girlfriend went in for a quick lunch as we have been here few times before and we think the quality of the baos are above average.
Unfortunately today we were craving some bao and we decided to pop in for a quick lunch to eat in or take away and been 2:30pm and the restaurant closing at 3pm we thought we had enough time to buy something even for take away.
Once in the girl (brunette) behind the bar informed us that we were easily on time to be able to have lunch.
Then it happened…we take a sit outside as there was a photoshooting inside and all of a sudden a different waiter (blonde) comes outside telling us that the kitchen is already closed (2:32pm) and that we could not have anything.

I am very disappointed and sorry to have to be here writing this, but I believe that any restaurant to be fairly valuated has to have the good and bad point highlighted.

The food is nice at Mr. Bao, but the customer service I received today is the kind that I never want to see in a restaurant. I want to repeat that we were willing to have take away but not even this an option.

We ended up having a really nice lunch at the pub next door and spending around £80 which is what we average spend anytime we go out for a lunch or dinner
Unfortunately I do not think we will be back there as I will always choose a place with “slightly” less quality on the food but a much better customer satisfaction focus
