DISCLAIMER: This review isn't intended to “bash” the place but rather to just share my honest review as a student here so perspective students can know EXACTLY what they are getting themselves into and can make an informed decision on whether to attend this “beauty academy”.

To put it frankly… I did not enjoy my time here at all and it was unbelievably stressful !! I will NEVER step foot in the place again and just thank God I made it out alive and got my qualification.

Unprofessional and EXTREMELY unorganised since my first day starting the course all the way until the very end. They are money and not student/craft orientated and just care about your course fees. Teachers are not officially qualified, some cannot read or speak English properly, and some are teaching things that are untrue/wrong (Tutor:Alek) – especially when it comes to anatomy and physiology (verified by medical professionals that a lot of what we were bring taught by tutor was rubbish and untrue). Owners are VERY VERY VERY rude to you and make your experience there feel overall very uncomfortable and unecessarily stressful. The way they speak/treat you you'd think they were the ones paying you to be there. Cynthia in particular was very rude and made me feel very uneasy.

I read the really bad reviews before coming here but it was very local and very cheap so I decided to take the risk. I guess you get what you pay for!

If you can afford to study elsewhere PLEASE avoid this place at all costs.

And as a customer, I wouldnt trust any treatments that they're offering as the hygiene was very poor seeing inside the salon (Bow) as a student (often had to bring in my own clean sponges and skin products) and I imagine the lasers and other products they use aren't the best quality either, including their own branded products they are trying to push which appear to be cheap/basic private label products they've just plastered their name on.

Good luck if you decide to study at this academy. You'll need it!!

Google Bad Review 1:  Hungover teachers, lack of communication, not worth the money spent. Won't offer a refund, even though the initial teacher was late 3 times, hungover and didn't have a clue about what she was doing. A course that was meant to last 6 hours a day (weekly), yet only 4 hours total over 2 course days is what was given.

Telling us to go home early because the teacher ‘had food poisoning' and not offered any opportunity to cover the missed hours.

Kit was worth about £50, when is described as being worth £140 + .

Ignored several emails, calls and written letters. Finally a response from the principal several weeks later not offering any refund at all.

Discrimination to disabled students. The list goes on.

Avoid this school at all costs, unless you want to be scammed.

She left halfway through course & had nobody teaching us for weeks. The lady in office are very angry and shouting and not understanding us. Very unorganised with high staff turnover.

Funny how after my review all amazing reviews turn up… Mmm ok? Im going Roy Cochrane or Bodyology as other student recommend.

Google Bad Review (2):  I went here today to receive a Brazilian blow dry and was refused service as I was unable to retrieve my voucher despite me having previously handed over the voucher information to the manager a month prior to my visit. When she spoke to me on the phone the manager had a bad attitude and the staff although relatively pleasant were lazy and reluctant to help. I think they are bad people and scammers. Save your money or spend a bit more and go elsewhere.

Google Bad Review 1:  This is the worst college I've ever attended. The staff don't communicate with each other, they equipment don't work, I was first told i was able to just do level 4 laser which I got approved a loan for when I started I was then asked to leave due to me needing to also doing lever 3 as I didn't have enough qualifications so I had to apply for another loan which I did so i had to miss 3 week (3 sessions) as I was waiting to get my loan letter. When I returned i received a email saying I've been removed from the course due to poor attendance which I made them aware it was there error, they resolved this (didn't apologise) I then made them aware I needs a day off as I was attending my best friends wedding abroad which they said was ok and when I arrived back in the uk I again received another email stating I've been removed from the course. This college is poorly run, products are out of date and equipment don't work!!! I will be taking this later further

Google Bad Review 1:  I have never ever been to such a dirty, messy salon EVER. I actually do not know how Felicity is qualified to train people in lash extensions when the people on the course were the ones telling her.
She had no clue. The mannequins were so filthy we could not practice on them. I'm glad I only paid £29 for the course and not £250. I still think £29 was extortionate for the lack of hygiene, training and ethic .
Myself and others will be complaining to guild of beauty,wowcher and anywhere else.
We took many pictures to prove the state.
This salon should not be open to the public
.. Oh and a sunbed in the same room as a rotten toilet??
