Google Bad Review 1:  If it was possible to give less than a single star I would PCS legal, are not a conveyancing solicitor that you should use in ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. They offer little to no communication, and fail to act as instructed or as agreed contractually when you pay them. I purchased a property OVER A YEAR AGO and they failed to register me as the owner on the land registry. I attempted to contact them multiple times asking them what caused this delay, and how they intended to remedy this as we intended to sell the property.

They failed to reply, despite promising to give an answer at the end of the day I made contact, that was over a week ago at this point. Using PCS legal IS NOT IN ANYONES best interest, they will literally cause you to lose your home or the property you are looking to buy. Notice that the positive reviews are often from accounts with a single or two reviews. I wouldn't put it past an organisation as unscrupulous as themselves to create false reviews.

PCS legal have abhorrent practices, after contacting a legal ombudsman for advice he commented that delays during the peak of the pandemic at the land registry were common, however in NO CIRCUMSTANCE was a year an acceptable amount of time for a straight forward change of ownership. PCS legal are NOT WHO YOU SHOULD employ, they will let you down at every hurdle, and put your PURCHASE OR SALE AT RISK. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.

Google Bad Review (2):  I had previously written a review on PCS legal's Google Business profile, however, a large number of the negative reviews seem to have been deleted, along with their profile which had a rating of 1.5 stars out of 5. So I felt it was important for people to see honest reviews.

They are by far THE WORST ‘solicitor' I have ever used. They rarely answer calls, don't return emails and cost me the purchase of my dream home (as well as months of stress, anguish and money). Every time I contacted them to get an update it felt like they couldn't be bothered to help and they couldn't wait to get me off the phone. Don't be fooled by their confidence in their app – it was updated twice throughout the whole process, and was completely inaccurate – pretty useless.

The purchase should have been very straightforward, both myself and the seller were chain free and the property was a simple freehold house. I returned all paperwork within 24 hours of receiving it, yet there were numerous errors along the line, including further paperwork being issued to me with a completely different address and name – not the level of accuracy you'd expect from a legal firm.

I notice their Google business profile has now been deleted – perhaps they've removed it because of the 1.5 star google rating, and the abundance of very poor 1 star reviews.

Instead of hiding customers HONEST feedback about your poor service, why don't you improve your service? Just a thought.

So they are being fully transparent with their clients, I hope PCS legal will repost the plethora of reviews that are no longer showing on their profile. The current rating doesn't reflect the poor service a number of people have received.

I don't really need to say too much – the negative reviews are coming back through again, judge the company based on the recent reviews. Click ‘newest' at the top and you'll see just how bad they are. In my honest opinion, they shouldn't be dealing with any legal work whatsoever.
