Google Bad Review:  My nan was here for a couple of years and although it has a lovely appearance, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are great, there are a few concerns I feel I must raise that you only notice once you're loved one is in this care home. My nan had early stage Alzheimer's while living here and when visiting her I often found her clothing was not properly washed and her hair appeared greasy, although people with any form of dementia may be problematic to say the least, as professional carers I thought it was disappointing that they allowed her hair and clothes to get to this stage and when I challenged this the response was defensive and hinted at laziness on their part.

I will also say the manager of the home is lovely and is generally dedicated to her job but does tend to panic in certain situations which I will not go into detail on.

This is not meant to slate the home as they do have great aspects but just wanted to make people aware that it is not as perfect as it may seem particularly when you may have to make a quick decision about your loved one and whether this becomes home to them.
