Google Bad Review:  A very sad reality of a place that favours a pay check over human beings ! I’ve
Witness unbelievable levels of abuse On my family member who was a vulnerable resident. I suggest any families who are willing to place their family members into a place of torture or to the family members who already have trusted this place with their family member to absolutely put cameras into the rooms I suggest that you visit often ! possibly without even telling them that you are coming. Check that your family members are given the correct medication insure that they are well fed and please do not be afraid to investigate anything that seems wrong to you! This place has no care or concern for anybody that is their resident !
In my personal opinion I believe They all are all subjected to abuse regularly in regards to high levels of neglect ! I find it very hard to believe it only happened to one person and that person being my family member .my family and I have witnessed sad events with our own eyes and the sad reality is even when we expressed a concern it was never taken care of ! Or even thought about , The response was continuous broken promises and care plans that were
Never made! The result was somebody that belong to us suffering an inhumane lifestyle and death. So if for any reason you doubt the truth of what I’m saying be aware for example ! that they believe not bathing someone for nearly 3 weeks who is valuable mentally is justified ! And then following on the horrific treatment by telling that same person that they stink repeatedly so that person with dementia didn’t remember their families names or faces but could remember The cruel words that they stunk. Regardless of laws in place to protect this level of vulnerability ! This care home clearly believes that The laws protecting dementia patients does not apply to their code of practice ! 3 weeks without any intimate care was justified because
The person refused help for intimate care . This is why many people live in a care home in the first place. so they are given that type of support and comfort
By trained professionals in a dementia unit, in the hope they are provided humane and professional care and so all needs are meet ! The type of care many may not be able to cope with providing at home ! It is very common for a patient with dementia to refuse help! rather than The care home accepting that most patients are are not able to actually make those types of logical decisions ! because of the low level of mental capacity they leave them to function as if they are still living an independent life . It’s the same
Ignorance and Negligence in regards to food And medication intake ,almost nearly all the things That is expected to be provided isn't .it breaks my heart to know that we couldn’t even help our loved one even though we never stopped fighting ! I hope this review may help others but deep down I believe that this message may not even help And that really frightens me ! and it’s sad but I hope it reaches somebody ! It may just be one less person to Suffer the same fate !
