Google Bad Review 1: They did not deliver on time, very disorganised, sadly a very unprofessional outfit. CEO told me not to contact him on weekends, left me wondering if they would turn up on a Monday. After 2 x site visits, told it would be 3-4 days work – a month later it was completed. Leaving me with holes in the walls for me to repair. After spending over £9k with them, I'm far from a happy customer. I simply would not recommend.
Update: July 2018
3 of the 5 units installed have stopped working, simply producing hot air with no cooling. One of the 3 units can no longer be used as water starts pouring out of it.
I raised this to JP Aircon, only to receive an email back saying that the units and installation are not covered by any warranty. Apparently because I had a personal friend (who is a very experienced and qualified electrician) fix the electricals so we could turn the units on without tripping the fuse box.
We were so uncomfortable with having JP Air come back to our house due to the fact they had taken more than twice the amount of time they originally quoted to complete the install. Leaving me with no confidence whatsoever in their ability to complete anything correctly and on time.
They are claiming that the warranty has now been voided as we turned the units on without JP Air being there.
What the owner Jacques has not told you in the message below is that the delays in the installation had nothing to do with the electrical issue. To be honest, I believe JP were the ones that caused the electrical issue by completely changing the wiring and configuration for these new units compared to the original units they replaced.
The delays were due to poor preparation by JP Air, turning up to the job and wasting the first few days running out of equipment to flush the existing systems out. It took them 5 full days just to get one set of units connected.
He also didn’t mention that one of their employees was very odd in asking very inappropriate questions about who sleeps in which bedroom etc. How could that be relevant to an installation of units replacing the original. This obviously left me and my family feeling extremely uncomfortable.
So I now have to find another company that can fix the mess that JP Air has created for me.
£9K worth of installation and within just over 6 months I have 3 faulty units. It will probably cost £100’s more now to rectify the issues.
Feeling very let down by this whole saga.
