Google Bad Review 1: We visited the cafe for my elderly mothers birthday.
I was running a little late so my mother asked if she could order a glass of wine whilst she waited, to which she was told no, she couldn’t order a glass of wine unless she was ordering food. My mother explained that she did wish to order food but to wait for me to arrive, she was still told she could not have a glass of wine.
What we then witnessed as we waited for our food was quiet upsetting. At a table in the cafe sat another elderly lady, alone. She kept herself to herself whilst she waited for her food. She was the only other person sat at a table indoors. There were a number of other tables free for use. We witnessed a gentlemen, perhaps the owner, come over and very rudely say ‘if you are going to come here why can’t you sit at a smaller table’, my sister and I noticed that he was being very rude and unwelcoming to the elderly lady. The lady just sat there quietly and said nothing. She did not move tables.
As a kind gesture my sister went upto the till and paid for the lady’s meal. She then went to tell the lady, telling her that we noticed how rude the man was being towards her. The lady thanked her but it was clear she was upset.
A word to the gentleman who other customers witnessed how rude he was. Have respect for others, and be mindful of your words. We would never return to the cafe now given how the lady was treated, which is a shame because the salads were nice. Manners cost nothing.

Google Bad Review (2): Went in, no one else in there, sat down and got ignored completely by the two chatting staff for over 5 mins, left and said thanks for the great service then t girl ran out to argue with me. Never going there again.
