Google Bad Review 1: I must say, I am completely disappointed with what was my first…and last order!
As a Caribbean native myself, no effort was made to capture even a semblance of authenticity!
My order of:
Oxtail… had the consistency and taste of a casserole rather than a stew, the meat tasted unseasoned.
Boneless curry did not taste of anything really…perhaps leave the bones in? Meat also appeared to be unseasoned.
Plantain was burnt and unripe, and dumplings were also burnt!
All was not bad…the lamb patty, rice and peas and akee and saltfish were passable.
The princely sum of the above was £83.80, definitely not worth it for dinner far less lunch!
Looking at other reviews, I would say I am not alone in my summation…if you want a taste of the Caribbean…go elsewhere!
