Google Bad Review 1: Had my eyelashes done here. Was delayed 45 minutes starting and a full set only took 30 minutes. Another woman arrived in to the room in the middle of my treatment giving out in another language. Very unprofessional setting, My eyelashes were just clumps of glue and spikes clusters after 4-5 days. Would not recommend.

Google Bad Review (2): It was the most unskilled hair colour and cut I have ever received. I purchased a relevant Groupon and was ready to pay extra £20 due to my extra long hair. However, Eva, the owner, insisted on me getting a refund from Groupon and paying her directly the same price in cash plus extra £25. She kept saying how her other clients were kind enough to do that and after much hesitation I agreed in the end since she promised she “will make it really nice.”

I asked my dark brown hair to be coloured in jet black + black blue concoction. While she was dyeing my hair, she kept dripping the dye on the floor and everytime that happened, she shouted in her native language for other staff to come with a cleaning towel so she could use her foot to wipe the floor. By the time she finished the whole head after 15-20 minutes, half of my face was covered with the palm-size of black dye (good thing I went there with no make up. It would have been a total mess if I had an appointment to meet someone after the salon.) Instead of wiping my face clean immediately after, she made me sit down in the waiting chair with my half face still painted, while she started working on her next client who came 45 mins earlier than her appointment. I felt so embarrassed with my face left like that for half an hour surrounded by other people who saw me and couldn't stop noticing it. It was clear that Eva prioritized cleaning her floor over my face.

After that wait, she washed my hair and applied hair mask and left my head lying over the sink for ten minutes. If it was a normal salon, they would wrap your hair up in a hair cap and let you sit on the chair with tea or a magazine (or your phone at least) but I was left to wait in that awkward position over the sink with neck pains. Following that, she blow-dried my hair and made me stand up straight while she cut off the damaged ends. (Which salon makes a customer stand up while receiving their service?!)

Now it's been four days since that hair colour and every time I washed my hair in the shower (three times so far), the hair dye washed out in a large amount. By this point, my hair is neither jet black or black blue; it's back to my dark brown. I contacted Eva with pictures and she said “It's normal. Come back in two weeks and this time it will come out better.” On my initial visit, she never mentioned it would be a two-stage process and I know from experience that it should never be.

Even if the hair had come out more positively, I would still never go back as it was far more messy and unskilled process than when I ever got myself or my inexperienced friend to colour my hair. If your salon can't dye your hair without painting half of your face, it is just a joke and not a professional.
