Google Bad Review 1: Broke my glasses (just the frame), and ordered a second pair at another optician in London. Didn't like the quality of the new lenses, and the old lenses are very high quality so I bought a new frame from the same brand, same size, and asked Eyediology to put the lenses in.
Of course, I had to sign a disclaimer, I thought that was completely normal and thought that they were professional. The result is indescribable: a pair of glasses completely wobbly and the lady saying “they're still wearable, next step would be getting new lenses”. New lenses?! The lenses are the reason why I got a new frame. Not because I'm cheap, but because it's difficult to find that quality for lenses!
I asked the lady “well, if I were to buy new lenses, can you get good lenses like these ones? with this nice cut?” and I showed her the difference between my old lenses en my new lenses. She answered “when you'll want to change your lenses, we'll go through your different options”. Was she kidding? The question was: do you provide this quality or not? I assume the answer is no.
Very very disappointed after all the reviews. I thought they were opticians, but they're just a glasses supermarket. Of course, they charged me the whole price, as if the job was done perfectly.

Google Bad Review (2): I had the unfortunate experience of the poor customer service visiting this place. Whilst I'm sure they were trying to be helpful, it came across as officious, cold and quite frankly patronising. I'd simply asked if it was possible to purchase a replacement daily lens as my lens had dried up and I couldn't see from one eye. Instead of a polite refusal I got a lecture on how it's illegal to buy lenses by the day and made to feel incredibly stupid for even requesting such a thing. Even just explaining the problem didn't result in any kind of understanding or sympathy – a resolute “No it's illegal, you won't find anywhere else that will help you either”. I had to walk out in the middle of it given how arrogantly the woman was coming across. It's quite clear from the responses to negative reviews that they only care if you're an established customer of theirs, well they can rest assured I won't become one anytime soon.
