Google Bad Review 1: This happened a couple of years ago but the whole thing was so awful that I’m compelled to leave a review here.
So it was my birthday and since we all love deshi style Chinese we decided to come here. We had a large contingent and didn’t have any problem booking and getting seated and orders placed. Sadly that was the only good part.
We waited and waited. And waited some more. Next thing you know it’s more than an hour. Despite enquiring often and told its coming nothing. The food did eventually come and was good, but almost two hours later.
Turns out that they were missing a chef that day. But couldn’t be bothered to either throttle intake of people or even come clean and set expectations accordingly.
But that’s not the end of it. When the bill arrives, they have the cheek to include service charge on top. Can you believe it? I was in such a rush to get out of the place that I didn’t even check and left paying a almost £300 bill without realising I’d also payed for service charge. To this day I can’t forget this episode. That was daylight robbery.
I’ve been back a few times since then but only when invited and not having to pay. Because I’ll never, ever give these robbers a penny from my pocket.
