Google Bad Review (2): AVOID. Total cowboys. Leaving one star as zero not possible. Had a toilet often blocking. Lured by the website, I called and explained in full detail what the problem was. Was told an engineer would attend with the requisite camera that goes down the toilet to see what's going on. First a young lad (a trainee by their own admission) rings the doorbell holding a tattered wooden pole with a rubber plunger at its tip: hardly the experienced engineer and the high tech gear I was promised. When I explain that, um, I think we've tried that ourselves, thank you, he calls in his mate, an older and more experienced plumber who has a look (why send the lad in the first place, given the detailed phone call?), says he doesn't have the right camera in his van, sorry (again, the call made it clear). Says they'll need to organize another visit with the right camera. And, presto, I'm billed £114 for a totally pointless visit. Called to argue that the promised service wasn't delivered, they argued their team spent an hour here and the fee was fully merited. Book at your own peril. Pimlico Plumbers, here I come.
