Google Bad Review 1: Hodsons have been at the centre of 8 years of anguish for me and all of the other residents on the development. They installed a heating system that had major problems from the day of installation and then failed to repair it. When we finally got NHBC to agree to fix it, they couldn’t get it fit for purpose either. And when we needed Hodson’s permission to instal gas as a replacement, he would not give us permission to run gas through the common land, even though it made no difference to him! I wouldn’t trust him or any of his guarantees, steer clear!

Google Bad Review (2): Years of snags that got ignored and never being able to reach anyone to get anything sorted. Never hear back from emails or calls. Have had electrical faults, light failures, water tank issues, phone line issues…
Also, they outsourced service management to RMG recently. The balances transferred to RMG from Hodson are missing 7 months of service charges that have been paid (and proven, had barclays do a credit trace). Unsurprisingly, no one has been able to contact them on this issue either, and not through lack of trying.
Incompetent or thieves… Maybe both. Would definitely not recommend buying one of this companies “luxury” apartments.
