Google Bad Review (2): Got my tires changed here and then, a couple of days later, while I was driving on the motor way the car was shaking so I pulled over and called AA. Turns out that on one of my tires – 3 of the screws had come loose and the tire had been holding onto the car by 1 screw! AA said I was very lucky that I had played it safe and pulled over immediatly and not risked the last 15 mins of my drive home. I had to wait 5 hours for a special technitian because the damage made it impossible to get the spare in without specialized equipment.
Bromley Car Care did fix the problem to be fair. But they seemed surprised when I wouldn't simply accept a discount off of my next appointment as compensation. (Would you go back for more after such a bad experience?) I was treated like I was being a diva when I asked for my money back.
I understand that this is a buisness and giving me my money back would have been a loss but if I had driven a few more miles with the intent of making it that last bit of the way home I could have been in a very serious accident so I think taking on a slight financial loss is the least they could have done considering the circumstances.
