Google Bad Review 1: Super bad experience. Brough a bed off eBay arrangment for 6pm pick up by 6:03 he was threatening to leave. Then was very rude to the lady he was picking the bed up from when she asked him what blankets he was wrapping it in to protect it. Saying he wouldn’t guarantee no damage. He then called me shouting he was increasing the price and if I didn’t pay him and his lawyer would charge 80%?!

He continued to scream. I had to put the phone down and book elsewhere. Stressful unprofessional and verbally abusive service. Now he’s been txing all day long from his single person manned company telling me I’ll have to pay all his legal action? I have repeatedly asked for the customer service/complaint department but meet with strange tx calling me a lair and he’m sue me?

Worst service. Angry person.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but If I were a customer Id like to know the kind of service I will be given. I booked this one man company for a short distance move out from my flat. It started out really good, I got my quote online of how much the service was going to cost (50 GBP) since its as much I could pay. The driver/owner responded quickly by phone and showed up on time. He had parked on a cul-de-sac a block away from my flat but then decided he would leave the car on the other side of the street which is half a block away from my doorstep. About 15 minutes In, I go downstairs and this man was fuming, shouting to a police to the other side of the road that he had no brains because he got him a ticket, cause it wasnt allowed to park there.
Every time i bumped into him on the elevator he would compaling about this out loud. He spent the whole 20 min car ride complaining about how I was so lucky he was being nice with me because usually customers would have to pay the 60 GBP ticket, etc. I empathized but knew I wouldnt pay a penny since I never told him where to park, and it felt he was coarsing me to give him more money. He went on saying in the “terms and conditions” said its customer responsibility to find a place within 20 metres where he could park, or otherwise pay for a parking lot.
Once we got there, he actually starting acting mad. He parked (again) somewhere he couldnt and yet starting taking pictures of every car that was not supposed to park there. (for the next cop to fine the other ones too in case something happened? god knows)
This new parking was 50 m away from the house, so he said since he had to cross the street there would be an extra 10 GBP added to the price.
I say that didnt make sense, since in the online quoting process, it never asks if there is a road to cross, a number of extra meters, etc as variables for which the price would change. I put the info HE asked for and that was the price I accepted. He was so visually mad he had be charged a ticket he was trying to take money out of me AT ALL COST.
By now i was already upset and said id found a parking 3 min away from the flat and pay for it, like he said it was stated under “terms and conditions” but funny thing is he refused!! why? because OBVIOUSLY, he preferred I stay checking the car (as if i worked for him) and walk less distance, and CHARGE ME YET MORE money.
He had said the parking thing, and honestly by this time I preferred to pay a parking like he said customers should, than give this liar more money for charges he was making up on the spot, but he actually gave me no choice and said thats the way we would do it.
(I WISH THIS WAS THE END OF THE STORY)
I didnt pay the service in advance, since he said over the phone I could stop in an atm and pay cash when the service was done, so halfway through unloading the stuff this he comes to me, tells me I should pay RIGHT NOW. I say why since thats not what he agreed. But he says because I say so, i wont continue the job (ALL WHILE MY HOUSE 1 BLOCK AWAY WAS FULLY OPEN AND NO ONE TO WATCH MY STUFF) I said please Dario finish the job and Ill pay, but he refused, and said if i didnt do a bank transfer right now he would leave and TAKE ALL MY STUFF WITH HIM. By now he was already being verbally abusive, rude and unprofessional. I said im doing it right now, but please continue, yet this delusional man stood there, hovering over to me to take a peek at my phone to see if i was actually on my bank app.
I said STAY AWAY IM DOING IT RIGHT NOW, but when he sees i was visually angry he starts banging on about how he could charge me 15 instead of 10, that he was being generous, why am i getting that face, bla bla bla (basically admitting hes a liar and saying i could be screwing you over YET MORE THAN I AM)
I really didnt have a choice atm so i unwillingly paid to get it over with and that was that, but I did say to him how unprofessional his services were, which got him more riled up, but anyways, I guess I just wanted to warn potential customers about this.
