Google Bad Review 1: I went to City Skin Clinic for a filler appointment for eye circles and paid £330 for absolutely no result.. The “doctor” said I could only see a difference after the second treatment (meaning another £300). I'm 24 and the eye circle are not incredibly deep. I'm not sure what she injected in my face but it was definitely no professional filler. Also, she was not using the treatments herself which was not the best sign when you are not using your own services. In my opinion this place is just a waste of money and I would not recommend it at all.

Google Bad Review (2): Awful service.
I had a chin filler with City Skin Clinic, was happy with the result & paid the fee and I was looking forward to being a regular client.

I then returned, this time to have a different filler. As the doctor was about to administer the filler, I had an anxiety attack, had to leave the chair & went to the sitting area. I was feeling very unwell & was trying to deal with the anxiety attack hoping I would have some relief.

I could see that the doctor & the receptionist were annoyed that I had gone to the sitting area. They pretty much immediately informed me I would be required to pay £100 for the filler that had been opened but not used.

During my anxiety attack the receptionist was very rude. Neither of them offered me any assistance. Their concern appeared to be in getting me to pay £100 & be out of the door. The receptionist told me that I had decided to leave the room as the doctor was about to administer the filler & that this had been my choice.

I was very upset that not only was I feeling unwell with painful cramps from the anxiety attack, I also had to deal with not being assisted at all; this along with being told that I was choosing to act this way.

There was no compassionate or understanding in the way I was treated during my anxiety attack & this made me feel much worse. I wasn't offered any assistance, not even a drink. I was worried how I would get home since I had a fairly long journey ahead.

I refused to pay the fee of £100. Had I been treated with kindness during my anxiety attack then I would have paid the fee.

I recently emailed the clinic to request information re. the chin filler I had had, since I needed it for my records. The clinic replied informing me I had not had any treatment at this clinic, & that I had allowed the doctor to open a filler, & then had changed my mind & had not paid the fee. She also stated that they would not provide me with any further appointments.

I replied saying that I had not asked for further appointments, but had asked for information regarding the filler I had had on my chin. I also made a complaint about the way I had been treated. They didn't reply.

I sent a further email asking the clinic to send me information I had asked for. I again complained about the way I had been treated. I also explained in my email that I might be autistic & have started the initial process to be assessed. This might explain the anxiety attack I had.

They then replied to me giving me the information re. the chin filler I had had but completely ignored my complaint.

I would have liked to remain a client but with some more compassion & understanding, but the clinic is refusing to give me anymore treatments or at least deal with my complaint. On their website they have a complaints procedure but with me, they have ignored it.

Had this clinic now dealt with my complaint, we might have reached an agreement for me to pay £100 & for them to acknowledge that many people struggle with serious issues, in my case it seems that I probably have undiagnosed autism, which I did not know until recently, but which has caused me a lot of suffering.

For a clinic with qualified doctors, it's unacceptable for them to treat a client badly, who is clearly struggling at the clinic & who says that they are.

If the clinic also replies to my review with “We pride ourselves in taking excellent care of our clients…..”, this reply is dismissive of the way I was treated & will not deal with my complaint.

I would suggest this clinic tries to genuinely listen to this review, & do what they can to treat those who have difficulties with kindness, & where possible offer some assistance.
